5 Most Influential Women In Crypto Mass Adoption

The Cryptocurrency and Blockchain industry is moving fast, and I mean REAL FAST. These a list of 5 incredible women who are directly impacting global crypto adoption. They are literally changing the financial landscape as we know it.

Here's my list.

1. Christine Lagarde

2. Kristalina Georgieva

3. Hester Peirce

4. Julia Chatterley

5. Kathleen Breitman

Let's get straight into it.

Christine Lagarde

President of the European Central Bank

(Previous Head of International Monetary Fund)

Lagarde is pro-crypto and has a significant role as President of the European Central Bank. Last year Forbes magazine named her the 2nd Most Powerful Woman in the World. There's no doubt that this will be good for the crypto mass adoption.

Just recently she has announced that Europe is inviting a public commentary on a potential eurozone central bank digital currency (CBDC).

But that's not it, for the 8 years prior to her work at the ECB she ran the IMF. It is possible that there may be no more important organisation in terms of crypto mass adoption than the head of the International Monetary Fund, which Legarde headed during the years 2011 - 2019.

To finish here's one of my favourite photos, this here is one of the biggest convincing factors for me. Seeing Christine Legarde in the same room as Brad Garlinghouse the CEO of Ripple. That means there are numerous conversations going on behind the scenes.

Alright, who is next?

Kristalina Georgieva

Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Co-chairing the World Economic Forum

The International Monetary Fund is planning a great financial reset where they replace the old outdated financial system and in a sense, re-do the plumbing to support the internet of value as opposed to just the internet of information.

Georgieva said that Governments must work together to help save the world economy following the pandemic fallout just like they did with the Bretton Woods agreement in 1944, which was is still the existing system of monetary management established the rules for commercial and financial relations in the US.

The conversations include debt forgiveness and a restructuring of the global reserve currencies.

This is so monumentous, as Georgieva has recently called “A New Bretton Woods Moment.” It comes at a time when the world is in a unique period of transition from the Covid-19 crisis.

Change is the only constant,” wrote the ancient Greek philosopher, Heraclitus of Ephesus.

Hester Peirce - "Crypto Mum"

Commissioner of the United States

Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)

The U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has a three-part mission: Protect investors. Maintain fair, orderly, and efficient markets and facilitate capital formation. Peirce was asked by Forbes the following question regarding her intentions with Cryptocurrency.

Forbes: Why are you interested in helping the crypto ecosystem based on decentralization flourish? How do you see this meeting the mission of the SEC and more broadly, what societal benefits do you envision from a mature crypto market?

Hester Peirce: It is important for us as an agency to be a bit nimbler with respect to innovation. I see this safe harbour as a case study as to how we handle innovation. I am not an advocate of a technology or tokens, but I do think there is a beauty to decentralization that allows us to bring people into the economy that have previously been shut out. It enables you to bring people together from across the world in a way that is new, a different way of meeting people’s objectives in a common effort other than a corporation. I see the promise in it.

She supporting crypto companies and trying to help move regulations along. Here you can see her dissent letter urging a reconsideration when the Winklevoss Bitcoin Trust was disapproved by the Commissioner.

She has been voted in until 2025 so has plenty of time to lead to Crypto regulation and adoption.

Julia Chatterley - Journalist

Julia Chatterley is an anchor and correspondent for CNN International, based in New York. She anchors 'First Move with Julia Chatterley' live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. There is no better place to be reporting on this financial reset then in the heart of the beast. Her input on Crypto may single-handedly persuade millions of people to create cryptocurrency accounts.

It is said of Journalists that,

"[If you] believe that your aim is to change the world, journalism is a more immediate short-term weapon."

Tom Stoppard

Chatterley has certainly worked hard to help crypto mass adoption through her accurate reporting on significant blockchain projects. Julia has interviewed crypto heavyweights like Brad Garlinghouse, Anthony Pompliano and others.

Journalists have the power to influence the thinking of the Masses and I believe with Julia the finance journalism is in good hands.

Lucky Last!

Kathleen Breitman – Co-founder of Tezos

Not many people can say they raised $232 million in an ICO, but Breitman can. Her startup, Tezos, raised the seventh-largest ICO in history. The platform is building a blockchain that can evolve according to the needs and desires of the people who hold its tokens.

Before Breitman founded Tezos, she was a senior strategy associate for blockchain consortium R3 Corda. She has also worked at the Wall Street Journal. Someone with such an incredible track record at only 28 years of age, she has a bright future ahead of her in Crypto.
